Camp Manager

The West Windsor Arts Council (WWAC) seeks an enthusiastic Camp Manager to assist in the administration and oversight of our summer camps under the supervision of the Director of Education. Hours are full time (40 hours per week) during the 8 weeks of summer camp, July 10-September 1 and require training (apx. 20 hours) during the spring.

Requirements:

  • Degree in education, arts administration or related field (or equivalent experience) combined with hands-on experience working with children in an educational or similar setting.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Loves working with children and has experience with children with special needs
  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office, Googledocs, and willing to learn other computer systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Superior multitasking and can work in a noisy environment under pressure.
  • Excellent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Good physical fitness, ability to frequently lift objects weighing 20 pounds or more and sometimes up to 50 pounds.
  • Photography experience/interest a plus.
