A One Day Artisan Market on Sunday, November 12, 2017, 10am – 5pm 

The WWAC Artisan Market is a celebration of fine arts and crafts. We are looking for Artisans to sell their innovative handcrafted items including jewelry, ceramics, fiber art, wood, glass, paper, and more at this one day Artisan Market and opening reception for the “Off the Wall” affordable art show. 

Drawing an audience from the greater Princeton area, the Artisan Market is a great place to sell your work. Last year over 600 visitors shopped our Artisan Market.

Exhibition Prospectus

This year marks the seventh anniversary of our Artisan Market which has grown into a respected venue for showcasing the work of talented artisans and attracts visitors from the greater Princeton region.  It is held concurrent with the “Off the Wall Affordable Art Sale” which is a juried art show bringing in artists from all over NJ and beyond.  Both events will be held in time for holiday shopping, offering beautiful handmade items and artwork. Please note that submission to the Off the Wall Affordable Art Sale will be under a separate prospectus.  WWAC is committed to promoting events to the public through extensive on-line lists, press releases, postcards, flyers, event websites and supporters of WWAC.

WWAC Exhibition Committee

Open to all artisans. Work must be original and handcrafted by the artist, and may include jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, glass, fiber, paper, etc.  We are looking for artisan’s work that will not compete with the wall art for our juried Off the Wall Art Show.  Artisan Market items must not include wall art, either framed, unframed or matted.  Note cards are allowed.

Must be set up for the entire show: 10am to 5pm (10am to 11am open to WWAC Members Only, 11am to 5pm open to the public). Doors will open for Artisans at 8am to set up.  Once cars are unloaded they will need to be moved to parking lot at Princeton Junction Train Station. There is no fee to park there for the day of the event and directions will be given the day of the show. At end of show, all artisans must promptly break down their table display by 6pm.

All items must be arranged in a display that will fit on a 30”x 72” tabletop.  Additional racks and bookshelves beyond the table may be permitted if requested prior to the show.  Tables and chairs will be provided by the WWAC. You may use your own set-up if you request to do so prior to the show and it must fit in the 30”x72” space.  Tables must be covered and skirted to the floor. We can provide a table covering for an additional fee of $10, to be paid the day of the market.

All Artisans must pay a fee of $15 at the time of submission to be considered for the Artisan Market.  Artisans who are accepted into the market must pay the $50 table fee by Friday, September 30, 2017.  (Total fee for the Artisan Market $65).

Artisans will be responsible for collecting sale proceeds for their merchandise. Artisans are expected to collect and pay sales tax.

The West Windsor Arts Council retains the right to use artist’s name and digital images of accepted artwork.


Sunday, August 27, 2017 by midnight: Artisan Market submissions for jury review must be submitted to Submittable.
Friday, September 1, 2017 by midnight: Accepted Artisans notified by email.  Artisans not accepted will also be notified.
Friday, September 29, 2017 by 5pm: Accepted Artisans table fee due, paid directly to WWAC.
