Chapter Two is Neil Simon’s autobiographical romantic comedy in which recent widower and writer, George Schneider, is encouraged by his younger brother Leo to start dating again. After a series of bad matches, Leo discovers Jennie Malone, a charming and beautiful actress who is recently divorced.  George, pushed by Leo, and Jennie, pushed by her best friend Faye, agree to a meeting and it’s practically love at first sight.  But can George close the chapter on his life with his first wife, and will Jennie be patient enough to wait and find out? Will these two lovers be able to start a new chapter of life together?

Bakersfield Mist

by Stephen Sachs, Directed by Peter Bisgaier
April 13 – 22, 2018
Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm
Sundays at 2pm
Maude, a fifty-something unemployed bartender living in a trailer park, has bought a painting for a few bucks from a thrift store. Despite almost trashing it, she’s now convinced it’s a lost masterpiece by Jackson Pollock worth millions. But when world-class art expert Lionel Percy flies over from New York and arrives at her trailer home in Bakersfield to authenticate the painting, he has no idea what he is about to discover. Inspired by true events, this hilarious and thought-provoking new comedy-drama asks vital questions about what makes art and people truly authentic.

This exciting collaboration will provide a vibrant, unique and accessible venue for the community to experience live theater at the West Windsor Arts Center.

Pegasus Theatre Project is an independent, professional theater company co-founded by three local theater veterans: Peter Bisgaier, Jennifer Nasta Zefutie and Judi Parrish. Together, they have over 85 years of experience in all aspects of theater production and will serve as co-producing artistic directors. Born of the desire to produce intimate productions that are interesting and challenging, Pegasus offers engaging entertainment that is both compelling and fun.

Highlighting the unique nature of their collaboration, Pegasus strongly considers Arts Council programming and the artwork on display in the Arts Center Performance Gallery when selecting its season.
