the junction where the arts and community meet

Our first-ever ArtWalk 2019 was a success and a testament to the generous and fun-loving spirit of our community. As we walked through the neighborhood, we were greeted with waves and smiles and an outpouring of support for the arts. An art scavenger hunt kept families engaged, and inspirational quotes provided encouragement for the road ahead.

The one-mile fun walk raised more than $1,500, which will support the West Windsor Arts Council’s mission to provide high-quality cultural programming that brings people together and transforms the world around us by inspiring, educating and promoting the arts and art appreciation for our diverse community.

After the walk, parents and kids of all ages enjoyed games, crafts, music and prizes, not to mention a delicious picnic lunch by Chez Alice. Some kids even came dressed as their favorite artists or artwork, while others cheesed it up trying on costumes at our photo booth. We look forward to planning next year’s ArtWalk and invite everyone to join us in supporting the arts and health in our community.
