Want to learn how to crochet? Join Maggie of Maggie May Craft for crochet boot camp! We will start from the absolute basics for anyone who hasn’t picked up a hook & work our way up to being confident crocheters. During the class you will complete multiple projects such as a cosy beanie while learning all the basic stitches and fundamentals of crochet. By the end of the class you will feel comfortable reading patterns and choosing a project to create all on your own!

$10 materials fee due to the instructor on first day of class.

Suggested Materials to bring for the class (teacher will go over all of these, so it is not necessary to have or buy everything on the first class):
8 or 9mm hook
5mm hook
6mm hook
Tapestry needle
fabric scissors or thread snips
2 Skeins bulky weight yarn (Recommended: Lion’s Brand Wool-Ease Quick & Thick) ~$8 ea
Minimum 2 Skeins acrylic medium-weight yarn ~$5 ea
2+ Skeins acrylic medium-weight yarn ~$5 ea (Depending on colors already owned)

About the Teaching Artist

Maggie Sullivan is a multimedia artist, crafter & collector. She has been creating since she was young and has a BS in Cinema Production and a specialization in Printmaking from Ithaca College. During this time she discovered the art of crochet. Her love of the craft has grown over the past few years into Maggie May Craft. She now creates pieces for sale at art markets and in person at Belleville Market in Easton, PA. Along with crafting herself, she enjoys teaching these incredible arts to others.
