Are you interested in becoming more well-spoken and confident? In this class, actors will develop basic acting skills and more, including learning how to work as a group, improvise, follow directions, create characters, and tell compelling stories. Students will acquire theater skills through games and activities that promote focus, communication and listening. Come join us and find out what kind of character you are! New and continuing students welcome! *This class is a part of our Certificate in Fine Arts Program and will give each student one point towards their CiFA certification.
About the Teaching Artist
Tim Moran is a member of SAG-AFTRA and holds a B.A. in Theater with a double-concentration in Acting and Directing/Stage Management from Ramapo College of New Jersey. He has been teaching acting to ages varying from 5 to 18 for over a decade.
Tim has performed on camera and on stage throughout the tri-state area. He has worked in comedy, drama, musical theater, Shakespeare, and sketch comedy. Credits include Arsenic and Old Lace (Mortimer), 12 Angry Jurors (Juror #8), Moon Over Buffalo (Paul), Romeo and Juliet (Capulet), You Can’t Take It With You (Tony), The Last Place on Earth (Curtis), and It’s a Wonderful Life (George Bailey).
