Continuing this Fall, join us for an exciting and engaging online series!
Each session we will feature talks from local area museums.
Each session is led by a Docent of the presenting organization.
This is free to WWA Members (any level) and $10 to all others.
Docents use their knowledge and passion to make their chosen topics fun and engaging to everyone. Each museum has its own training program for their docents consisting of lectures, gallery sessions, research, and presentations to fellow trainees.

September 29, 2022 from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm: Signing the Declaration with Morven Museum & Garden
Led by Morven docent Kim Gallagher
Richard Stockton, a lawyer and signer of the Declaration of Independence, acquired the land that would eventually become Morven Museum & Garden (Princeton, NJ) in the 1750s. Join Morven docent Kim Gallagher for a visual exploration of Morven’s origins and Richard Stockton’s complicated relationship with the Declaration of Independence and early founding of our nation. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A discussion with Kim and Morven’s Curator of Education & Public Programs Greer Luce.
A National Historic Landmark, Morven is situated on five pristine acres in the heart of Princeton, New Jersey. The home of Richard Stockton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and former New Jersey Governor’s Mansion, Morven showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Garden State through regular exhibitions, educational programs, and special events.
