Along with a new fiscal year on July 1, 2022, West Windsor Arts welcomes a new leadership team to its Board of Trustees. While board membership terms are for 3 years, executive leaders serve 1-year terms and are able to repeat these terms.

We were very lucky to have Jyotika Bahree serve as Board President of West Windsor Arts for two terms spanning fiscal years 2021 and 2022. Her service to the organization has been exemplary in every way from community engagement to making connections to her inclusive style of leadership of the Board of Trustees and of course through her personal support. Jyotika will continue to support the leadership team by serving as Board Secretary. We are thrilled to continue to benefit from her active participation.

We are pleased to welcome long-time board member Mikel Cirkus, who previously served as Vice President, into the role of President. Mikel’s involvement with the organization has grown each year, and he has impressed us with his incredible commitment to the arts in West Windsor (and beyond).

Sashi Sreekanth will serve as Vice President. Sashi and Mikel proved that they make a dynamic duo at the gala this year as they co-hosted the virtual component of the festivities. Sashi is an energetic member of the team with big ideas and a heart to match. We are so pleased to have her step into this leadership role.

Ann Zawartkay recently joined the board of trustees for the West Windsor Arts Council after serving for several years on its Internal Affairs Committee and will now serve as the Treasurer. Ann brings a love for the arts combined with nonprofit accounting experience and acumen. We welcome her wholeheartedly to both this role and to board service.

Elane Gutterman will continue in her role as Chair of the Governance Committee and Maureen Connolly-Hersh will serve as the Chair of the External Affairs Committee.

Please read more about each of the members of the Board of Trustees on our Board Bio page.
