Class Volunteering | West Windsor Arts Center

Classroom volunteering is a great opportunity for students wanting to work with children and learn more about teaching in a classroom by assisting our talented teaching artists. Volunteers will help teachers manage supplies, work one on one with children, and foster a fun, comfortable, and inviting classroom environment for young students. Classes occur for 8-10 weeks at the same time every week, so it’s a great opportunity to build skills consistently each week.

What skills, talents, and/or experience do you bring to the position? We offer a wide range of classes, such as studio arts (drawing, painting, and sculpting), digital arts, acting, and singing, so we like to pair volunteers with classes they are skilled for and excited about!*

- Mondays 4:45-6:15 pm: Voice-Singing Ages 6-11
- Tuesdays 5:15-6:45 pm: Drawing Foundations Ages 5-8
- Wednesdays 5:15-6:45 pm: Kids Art Club Ages 5-7
- Thursdays 5:00-6:30 pm: Draw, Paint, Sculpt Ages 5-7
- Fridays 5:30-6:45 pm: Art Practices Ages 7-11
- Saturdays 8:45-10:15 am: Drawing and Painting Ages 5-8
