Art is transformative. In my youth, I viewed collections notably the Barnes Collection, the Frick, the Met and MoMA. Then later, travels to Western Europe, UK, Ireland, and Greece. I took with me an appreciation and admiration for art and architecture and various styles...Giotto's treatment of space and form, Matisse's use of color, Turner's creation of light, Cezanne's compositions. Ten years ago, I set up a studio. During my student years, I concentrated on studio art and art history and continued nurturing this interest by joining an occasional art class and by visiting collections and exhibitions. After a forty-year career in marketing, development and events, I have returned to painting.
