As a graduate of The Maryland Institute College of Art, my work is inspired by the world around me and the emotional layers beneath it. Through abstraction and expressionism, I transform everyday moments into compositions that explore the complexity of human experience, particularly the disorienting nature of dementia.
Dementia alters perception, causing memory loss and blurring boundaries between time and space. My art captures the emotional contrasts of this shifting reality—where moments can be joyful or turn into dark and unsettling flashbacks. Through distorted forms and perspectives, I reflect the confusion, clarity, and fractured memory that define this condition.
