Our storytelling theme is “How Sweet.” This is your chance to share your true story about how sweet life can be at West Windsor Arts on Jan 27 at 7:30 pm. Doors open at 7:15 pm.
This event is a benefit for the arts and education programs of West Windsor Arts.
We will start the evening with a special presentation by Kelly of Cocoa Beau, featuring David Bradley Chocolates including a tasting and opportunity to purchase chocolates with 10% going to support West Windsor Arts.
Host Maureen Connolly-Hersh will make the evening run smoothly with laughs, encouragement, and special prizes for all our storytellers. We promise, it will be a great night out with your honey! (See what we did there?)
We are looking for your best stories about a time you experienced sweetness, be it emotional, taste, or any other form you can think of. Is it your couple origin story? Something about a favorite dessert? Or maybe it’s something that you thought would be sweet and wound up being sour or salty!
The first 4 storytellers who register in advance will get an EARLY entry (in order to save good seats for friends and family.) If you submit in advance but are NOT among the first 4, your name will go into our story bucket for selection at the event.
If upon arrival, you decide you are ready to be in the spotlight, you can drop your details in our story bucket. We will then randomly choose 4 more storytellers on-the-spot to compete live, on the mic.
All storytellers will get 5 minutes on the mic to share their truth in a safe space for all. Audience favorites get an extra special prize!
